FLIGHTREE respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”).  We recognize the importance of the personal data you have entrusted to us and believe that it is our responsibility to properly manage, protect and process your personal data. This Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use, disclose and/or process the personal data you have provided to us and/or we possess about you, whether now or in the future, as well as to assist you in making an informed decision before providing us with any of your personal data.

By using the Services, registering for an account with us, visiting our website, or accessing the Services, you acknowledge and agree that you accept the practices, requirements, and/or policies outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby consent to us collecting, using, disclosing and/or processing your personal data as described herein.

FLIGHTREE may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any change, update or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on our Site.

Information Collected or Received

To use the FLIGHTREE platform to transact, you will need to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The type of data that we may collect includes basic information such as name, address, email address and phone number; authentication information such as user name and password; and other similar information.  In addition, we may collect information in the form of content that you add or upload and submit to us to personalize your profile and listings such as photographs, business logos, and other information.   

If you connect to us or register an account using an external third-party application, such as Facebook, using an application programming interface (API), you will be granting us permission to receive information from these third-party applications. You can also choose to share some of your activity to certain social media networks which are connected to your account.

Your username is publicly displayed. Other people may see the date you joined; ratings, reviews and related information for listings you are transacting or have transacted; your profile information; etc.

Your email address is not shared with other users, and if you provide a display name, it will be displayed instead of your first & last names, which are optional anyway.

Like most websites, we may automatically track, collect and store information such as Internet Protocol (IP) address; Uniform Resource Locators (URL), domain name; type of device; and type of web browser and location using cookies, web log files, and other code tracking devises from any device you use to access our Site and any pages at our Site. We use this information to comply with certain laws, to provide customer support, for marketing purposes, to examine traffic to the Site, identify any misuse of the Site, and improve the Site to provide you a better experience.

We may use cookies to track your activity on FLIGHTREE.  A cookie is a small data file that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer, mobile phone or other device. Cookies store information about your use of a particular website or service and are typically used to make our Site easier to use and to make services more convenient and personalized. Cookies allow us to recognize you as a user when you return to the Site using the same computer and web browser, and to identify which areas of the Site you visited or customized, so the next time you visit the Site, those pages may be readily accessible.  You can remove or block cookies using the setting in your browser, but in some cases that may affect the functionality of our Site.

We may collect and retain the details of transactions and communications you have with us such as your agreement with us, the details of payments you make to us, the full content of any emails sent to us, including attached files, any feedback submitted to us, and other information you provide.

If you provide us with feedback, we will collect that information and we may use it in our marketing materials, post it on our Site or disclose it for any purpose we choose. Your personal information will not be disclosed or associated with any feedback that we use or disclose.

Please be aware that beyond the information required to register with us or to use specific services on the Site, providing additional information is entirely optional. Any information you provide in your profile, transactions, communications or your listings may be used in the same manner and to the extent that other information that is not personal information is permitted to be used under this Privacy Policy.

To create and access your account you will need an email address and password. We recommend that you use a unique combination of letters, numbers and special characters to create your password. You are responsible for all actions taken in the name of your account. You should not disclose your password to anyone. If you decide to share your password or lose control of your password, you may jeopardize the security and confidentiality of your personal information. Moreover, you may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password.

You may choose to share information including personal information with our users or with third-parties by sending messages, posting comments, uploading photos, or using other technology available on our Site. Sharing information through our Site is at your own risk. Please be aware that any information (whether personal information or otherwise) you choose to disclose on your profile, listings, communications, via email, messages, or otherwise, may become publicly available. In addition, if you provide personal information about another person, you should do so only with that person's consent and failure to do so may violate that person's privacy or data rights and the Terms of Service.

Use and Sharing of Information Collected

We respect your privacy.  We will not sell or disclose your name, email address, or other personal information to third parties without your consent, except as specified in our Policy.

We generally use your information to provide and improve our services.  We may use your personal information to: send you information about our company and services, and promotional materials; facilitate a transaction between you and another user; provide the services and customer support you request; process your order or request; help resolve disputes; collect fees; troubleshoot problems; prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities; enforce this Policy, the Terms of Service, and our agreement with you; and contact you when necessary.  We may also use your information for general research and aggregate reporting.

As part of the exchange/transaction process, we will facilitate the sharing of information between the two users involved in the transaction only as necessary to facilitate the transaction. By making a transaction on FLIGHTREE, you are directing us to share your information in this way. We expect you to respect the privacy of the member whose information you receive. Your ability to use this information extends to all marketplace related communication or for any transaction related communications. You are not granted the ability to use the information for unsolicited commercial messages or unauthorized transactions. Without express consent from that person, you must not add any user to your email or physical mailing list or misuse any user’s personal information.

We use services provided by third-parties such as payment processing companies like Stripe and PayPal, customer support application, file uploader, web servers, maps when the user provider their address/location, and others. We may share data with those companies to the extent permitted under this Policy and for the purposes in this Policy. Some of these third-parties capture your IP Address, email address as provided by you, device information, location, pages visited, as non-exhaustive examples, for the purpose of providing their services to enable the transactions and the operations on FLIGHTREE. We do not permanently store your payment information, deposit account information, and other financial information you provide to the payment processors. Such information is permanently stored with the payment processors in accordance with their Terms of Service and privacy policy.

FLIGHTREE may release your personal information to additional third parties in the following limited circumstances: in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet legitimate national security or law enforcement requirements; to protect, establish, or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims, including to collect a debt; to comply with a subpoena, court order, legal process, or other legal requirement; or when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with the law, prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss, or investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, threats to our property, or violations of FLIGHTREE’s Terms of Service.  

In the case of a business transition such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such business transition may occur and that disclosure of your personal information in that context is permitted by this Policy. In the event of a business transition, other than disclosure to the new owner(s), your personal information would continue to be treated in the manner outlined in this Policy.

The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and after it is received.

Unfortunately, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. 

Updated and Correct Data

As a user, you can access, correct, change and delete certain personal information associated with your account by visiting your account settings.

Data Retention

We will retain your information only for as long as is necessary to provide you services. If you no longer want us to use your information to provide you services, you may close your account. We will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Our services are not intended to be used by or benefit anyone under the age of 18 or where such services are not permitted. It is a violation of our Terms of Service to act otherwise.

As described in this Privacy Policy, we collect certain categories and specific pieces of information about individuals that are considered "Personal Information" in California ("CA Personal Information"), specifically: Personal and Other Identifiers or Characteristics such as first name and last name, personal or professional contact information, telephone number, e-mail address, unique personal identifier, IP, device, and online activity information, username and password to our Websites or services; Commercial Information such as transaction history. Sources. We may collect certain categories of CA Personal Information from you and other third parties as described in this Privacy Policy.

Use or Disclosure of CA Personal Information. Consistent with this Privacy Policy, we may use and/or disclose CA Personal Information for business or commercial purposes.

California Consumer Rights. Subject to certain exceptions, as a California resident, you may have the following rights to your CA Personal Information: Access. Request access to your CA Personal Information that we collect, use, disclose, or sell; Deletion. Request deletion of your CA Personal Information; and CA Personal Information Sold or Disclosed For Business Purposes. Request information about the CA Personal Information we have disclosed for business purposes within the preceding 12 months. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may be required to retain some of your CA Personal Information and certain CA Personal Information is strictly necessary in order for us to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

FLIGHTREE is an Israel entity. If you are a user accessing FLIGHTREE from the European Union, Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, that differ from United States laws, please be advised that through your continued use of FLIGHTREE, which is governed by U.S. law, this Privacy Policy, and FLIGHTREE’s Terms of Service, you may be transferring your personal information to the United States.

EU users’ specific rights and choices.  

If you are located in the EU or a country that is governed by the GDPR, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data that we hold: Right of access. The right to obtain access to your personal data; Right to rectification. The right to obtain rectification of your personal data without undue delay where that personal data is inaccurate or incomplete; Right to erasure. The right to obtain the erasure of your personal data without undue delay in certain circumstances, such as where the personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or processed; Right to restriction. The right to obtain the restriction of the processing undertaken by us on your personal data in certain circumstances, such as where the accuracy of the personal data is contested by you, for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of that personal data; Right to portability. The right to portability allows you to move, copy or transfer personal data easily from one organization to another; and Right to object. You have a right to object to processing based on legitimate interests and direct marketing.

FLIGHTREE is the Data Controller and may be at times Data Processor.
